As a Dentist
Tripartite Membership
To apply for membership, complete your application through the California Dental Association (CDA) and designate Orange County Dental Society (OCDS) as your component. As part of the tripartite structure, you will automatically become a member of the American Dental Association (ADA), CDA, and OCDS, ensuring support at the national, state, and local levels. Membership includes access to continuing education courses, practice management tools, networking and mentorship opportunities, community involvement, and advocacy on behalf of the profession. Whether you are establishing your practice, advancing your career, or transitioning into retirement, OCDS membership provides resources and connections tailored to every stage of dentistry.
As a Dental Student
OCDS Student Membership
Pre-dental and dental students can apply for membership directly with the OCDS. Student membership offers the chance to connect with local dentists, attend events, and gain early access to resources that support your journey into the profession. As a student member, you’ll benefit from mentorship opportunities, networking, and invitations to OCDS programs—all designed to help you build relationships and prepare for your future career in dentistry—for free.
As a Staff of OCDS Member
Allied Dental Health Professional (ADHP) Membership
Dental hygienists, dental assistants, and office staff can join OCDS directly to access resources and opportunities tailored to their roles in dentistry. ADHP membership offers access to select continuing education courses, networking events, and professional development opportunities within the Orange County dental community at a discount. By becoming a member, you’ll stay connected with local dental professionals, expand your knowledge, and contribute to the collective growth of the profession. ADHP Membership is $50 and will be valid for one year. Only staff of OCDS members are eligible for ADHP membership. Dentists must apply through the CDA to become a member.
